First, I want to sincerely thank you for supporting us here on the farm for another year. We are very grateful for your membership and contributions to the Ministry!
As I sit here typing, it is hard for me to believe that winter is beginning, and the celebration of Christ's Birth is right around the corner.
True peace is something that every man, woman and child (eternal beings) is seeking upon the resolution of their earthly life. Let us stop and consider the true peace which was born when God sent his son Jesus Christ unto this earth.
Prophet Isaiah clarifies,
"For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government shall be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." (Isaiah 9:6)
A multitude of angels proclaimed at his birth,
"Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!" (Luke 2:14)
The Son says,
"Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." (John 14:27)
Christ offers peace but does not force it. The world and its systems cannot force or offer the peace that Jesus Christ presents.
--- It's time for the winter picture update ---
Let's start with chickens . . .
Finding whatever is still remaining from the summer growing season . . .
Leaves are all off the trees and everything seems dormant and ready for the cold winter month ahead . . .
The cattle at a distance from on top of the hill . . .
They are all eager to see me!
It's the time of the year when we still rotate them across the meadow, but since the grass is not growing in the pasture, we supplement them with grass hay bales out on the pasture.
Eagerly awaiting of the next section where the grass hay bale is ready for them . . .
Watching the sunset on my way home . . .
Wishing you a blessed and peaceful holiday season.
May the Grace and Peace of God be with you forever, AMEN!
