And Jesus answering said unto them, Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's. And they marvelled at him.

Decentralized Food Production > Global Food Supply Chain

Food production has largely morphed into a commercial, for-profit enterprise in what is now coined the global food supply chain. Recent food shortages and mass manipulation have awakened many to the disorder and lack of integrity found in such a model. There's certainly a lesson to be had in futility for anyone expecting food security (stability) out of this worldly system enterprise.

Harmony Acres is in the world-system, but not of the world-system.

We’re calling farmers up to the standard of Jesus Christ,

persuading them to render to God what is God’s.

Harmony Acres is a Christian food ministry on a great commission to teach conventional and worldly business farmers how to be genuine stewards of God's earthly resources. We seek to reestablish local, decentralized food production in service to the People.

Our Mission moves forward via donations in exchange for the food that the Ministry offers.

These donations not only support the labor involved to produce the food; they also assist in developing systems which support farmers in their transition. Transition to what exactly? To the operative embrace of Colossians 3:23: "And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men."

Beginning primarily in Lancaster County, our aim is to educate and guide farmers to faithfully reestablish their labor in service to the Lord.

Food production will be faith-based and no longer profit-based.

Stewardship: Man's Role

Food is ultimately God’s business: man stewards His land and thereafter glorifies Him by cultivating what He's already established. Working with the land is a sacred duty. For us, food as ministry, in service to families and to the Nation, is the way forward.

In short, we view food as an indispensable component in the Body of Christ. Sitting down with family around a table of sustenance is not only the foundation of a healthy home; it's the foundation for a Godly nation.

And so, our Mission is twofold: teach farmers how to be genuine stewards of God's earthly resources; and aid the People of the Nation to view food as an indispensable component of the Body of Christ.

May we render to God the things that are God’s.
