Our Raw Milk comes from healthy cattle (Jersey/Jersey crosses) they rotationally graze upon hundreds of acres of diverse nutrient dense grasses in mineral rich soil. We seek to nourish contributing members across the nation, and so it’s only natural that Raw Milk be the lifeblood of our Ministry.
As stewards at Harmony Acres, we believe that variety is the spice of life, and so it's fitting that healthy Raw Milk varies in its flavor throughout the seasons. This variation of wonderful flavors also happens to coincide with slight changes in the overall nutrient profile of the milk. Why? Because the cattle will have access to a diversity of edible plants at different points in the year. This provides assurance, not only for the cattle, but for us, that we'll be filling any potential gaps in our diet where there may be deficiencies in vitamins or minerals. That's a fact worthy of praise to the Most High!
Pasteurized Milk, on the other hand, is not only heated to high temperatures, it's oftentimes homogenized. Such actions denature the contents of the milk reducing not only digestive efficiency but also the ability to assimilate whatever nutrients are left over. Couple this with the unfortunate, though very pressing reality, that most milk on the market is coming from bulk tanks of farmer collectives with intensively fed (grain/silage) cattle kept in extreme confinement the majority of their lives. We've seen many of these operations firsthand and it isn't pretty
Few of us grew up solely on Raw Milk. Thank God that this is rapidly changing for upcoming generations. Whether you were raised on Raw Milk from grass fed cows, or changed after a lifetime of dairy industry milk, you'll wonder how people can call that other stuff milk at all!
All of our cows are genetically tested and have a 100% A2/A2 protein profile.
Our cow milk is always raw, never heated or processed in any way. It comes straight from the udders to you.
All of our cow dairy is 100% grass fed. In the warmer months, our cows are fed fresh chemical-free grass. They are moved to fully grown, fresh pasture multiple times per day. In the colder months, our cows’ diet is supplemented with alfalfa hay and an organic nutrient blend – never grain of any kind.
Our cows are never given antibiotics or hormones. If needed, our cows receive homeopathic treatments.
