Wishing you Gods Blessings on Christmas Morning

I do not know how you observe Christmas, but I will respect whatever your religious belief may be. I will be pointing things out according to the Bible. If you are not comfortable with that, you can choose to stop reading here, and I will not be offended.
What do you suppose it must have been like to be there on Christmas morning?
The Bible give us a clue of what it may have been like.
And while they were there, the time came for her baby to be born. She gave birth to her firstborn son. She wrapped him snugly in strips of cloth and laid him in a manger, because there was no lodging available for them. (Luke 2: 6-7 NLT)
When I read this, I picture an old barn, with an empty stall.
There are a lot of question that arise. Was it cold? Did they have clean hay to lay him down?
Trying to imagine this from the luxury of a comfortable home, is pretty hard.
That night there were shepherds staying in the fields nearby, guarding their flocks of sheep. Suddenly, an angel of the Lord appeared among them, and the radiance of the Lord’s glory surrounded them. They were terrified, but the angel reassured them. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people. (Luke 2:8-10 NLT)
Now image your were the shepherds, you would be used to grazing sheep peacefully all night.
But this night an angle of the Lord would suddenly appeared beside you.
I would like to think this would be a great experience, would I too be terrified like the shepherd?
Suddenly, the angel was joined by a vast host of others—the armies of heaven—praising God and saying,
“Glory to God in the highest heaven, and peace on earth to those with whom God is pleased.” (Luke 2:13-14 NLT)
After this, they hurried to see him, and spread the news to everyone.
Jesus went on to show us how to live a humbly life, full of Love, Faith, and Hope.
Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.” (Mat 11:29-30)
My prayer to God is that you and your loved ones can be nourished from the many wonderful foods that we offer from our farm and other small farms in our area and that we as your farmers take this responsibly very seriously.
Thanks so much for your prayers and support in this past year, wishing you God's blessings in the New year and Beyond.
