Its Summertime! Every time a new season rolls around, I think it is my favorite.

I like it that way because then I can be living in my favorite time of the year, all the time! (I personally believe this is a choice we all can make.)

Follow me and let's go see what we can find out on the farm! . . .

The bees are very active in their hives, as you can see. It's the time of year when the beekeeper is stacking the boxes on, and the bees are doing a good job filling them up! . . .

The shade from the trees is much appreciated this time of the year, especially for the cattle during the hot afternoons . . .

On my walk I observed many songbirds including Baltimore Orioles and this Dickcissel. They are very busy this time of year feeding their babies . . .

Approaching the cattle on the far side of the pasture. The corn you see in the background is a neighboring farm. Just want to be clear so you know our cattle are 100% grass fed! :)

They really wanted a fresh paddock, but I will let David take care of that . . .

Many, many species of grass can be found throughout the pasture. A huge salad bar for the cattle!

On my way to the chickens through a patch of alfalfa . . .

The sun was out nice and hot, which typically finds the chickens in under the portable shelter for shade . . .

Here they are bathing in the dust! . . .

Let's stop by the garden and see what the veggies are doing! (This is our personal garden) My wife Sarah does an excellent job, and the Lord has been blessing us!

So much for today! I hope you found it interesting and meaningful!

May God Bless you as you journey upon this road of life!
