A Picture tour of our farm in December

Lets take a walk over our farm and see what it looks like in December. The pictures below where all taken on 12/10/2021 except the aerial view was in the late summer of 2020!
This is an aerial view of our complete 75 acres farm. If you look closely you can see the chicken tractors we had for the meat chickens we where raising over this time. Its the seven white dots closely lined up.
We also had layer chicken over this time it the long white building in a sunflower patch. The cows are near the center of the picture, a little hard to distinguish.
Follow me as I enter the gate into the meadow! (A dream come true would be to show you in real life! But I will attempt to show you the best I can with pictures.)
To our left are the bee hives. This time of the year there is very little happening. The bee keeper wrapped the hives with an insulation and the bees go into a hibernating mode and all bunch up together inside to stay warm and survive.
We will continue up this path.
To our right is an old stone quarry. We like to make a point to spend some quality time around the camp fire throughout the summer month. Also notice the trees are going dormant.
Nature has a special way to prepare for the cold winter month.
At the top of the hill we get too the beef herd. They where very relaxed and chewing their cuds.
This time of the year we do supplement with hay as the grass literally stops growing in the cold month. (I plan to dedicate a separate email about the Beef in the winter.)
As you can see, the grass is still somewhat green. There is a decent stock pile of grass left that we will be grazing on a little most of the winter.
A view form the creek bottom on our farm.
This is where I call my home. We built this in the fall of 2020.
This is David and Esther's house.
And adjoining David's house is where my parents live.
